Becoming dramaturge
Having the role of dramaturge has complimented my role as actress in the company as research has informed and improved the quality of my acting. I agree with Stafford-Clarks relevant words: ‘I think if you give actors responsibility to research material it gives them ownership which is invaluable’ (2008, 23). My research informed devising which developed into the script.
