‘Producers have the financial and managerial tasks of making productions available to the public. Although they may not make artistic decisions directly, they nevertheless influence artistic decisions through their willingness or unwillingness to meet the requests of the playwright, director, or other artists’ (Brockett, 331, 2008)

Along the process I will be ensuring that all decisions are made fairly within the team. I will be approving any final decisions in relations to spending costs. People management is key to my role. I shall be working closely with Marketing and Production teams by attending all of their meetings and attend all cast rehearsals to ensure everyone has my full support. If there are any issues within our company, members can see me in confidence to come to a solution.
An important aspect to my position within the company shall be the Business management therefore looking into performance rights, and budget..
